The things you learn from the internet. Per a meme I tripped over about Fauci's past research, I did a bit of light googling to find the paper. Here you go:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2599911/
It is a good paper. For those that know me from before, I tend to be rather hard on science publishing, but this really is a good paper. But that's the entire problem. In 2008 Fauci studied why the Spanish Flu of 1918 was so lethal. And the answer was: The Flu wasn't, but the bacterial pneumonia that came as a secondary infection to it was. And this was repeated in the 57-58 flu pandemic.
So he recommended, for managing future pandemics, stockpiling antibiotics, early and aggressive treatment with antibiotics for respiratory pandemics, and made two very interesting statements: As I'm sure you'll agree.
The first is that it will be harder for us now to even see the effects like the Spanish Flu of 1918 -- or the killer bacterial colonies that came with it -- due to modern medicine. That it would no longer strike the very young and the roughly middle aged. But that it would still hit the elderly. Particularly in nursing homes. But that we probably wouldn't know or notice because we don't autopsy the elderly.
That is, if we saw a repeat of a respiratory virus that, for whatever reason, promoted runaway and fatal bacterial pneumonia, that it would really only hit the elderly in these days. But that we wouldn't catch it, because we don't look for it.
Just like we presently have with the Wu Cooties.
The second is that enteric infections can lead to a bronchial infection. If you read some of my past blabs on gab, you'll note that I've been banging the gong that the Wu Cooties is not viral -- but bacterial -- and that it's most likely being spread by enteric infections. That is, ingestion of food.
Something I haven't mentioned, but is well known to folks like Fauci, that study these matters, is that long term wearing of masks will cause more bronchial infections than otherwise. A mask is a great environment for a colony to grow in, free of antibiotics and immune systems, and you simply suck it back in when you inhale.
Again, well known. Even to non-doctors if you work in a trade that requires or recommends wearing N95 masks.
Fauci knows that the problem is most likely -- if not certainly -- bacterial. Yet he hasn't been swinging from the rafters about aggressive and early treatment with antibiotics. And he knows that masking pervasively increases bacterial colonies and infections in the upper respiratory tract, yet he's recommending the very thing that he knows will kill people in these types of illnesses.
Fauci isn't ignorant of these matters. He knows these matters, and everything he does is a recommendation against his own findings and research.
He's not ignorant or innocent. For whatever ambition drives him, he is intentionally trying to kill Americans.
